John O. Kolawole, MD specializes in interventional cardiology as well as general cardiology. Dr. Kolawole also specializes in peripheral interventions. He is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Echocardiography.

Dr. Kolawole is a native of Nigeria. He completed his medical degree at the University of Ghana School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed his Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center as well as a Master of Science degree in Clinical Investigation.

Dr. Kolawole enjoys traveling (15 countries so far), SEC football, and he is an avid fan of Chelsea Football Club in England. His wife is a critical care/infectious disease physician, and they have two boys.
