Important Update
Effective April 1, 2024, Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates, PC (MCA) entered a formal partnership with Baptist Health. This collaboration is a significant step forward in our combined ongoing commitment to enhancing patient care and advancing cardiovascular health care services delivered to our community. Baptist Health is Central Alabama’s largest healthcare provider and one that shares our dedication to providing outstanding medical services to our community.
MCA clinics located in Montgomery, Prattville, Wetumpka, and Troy will be co-branded with Baptist Health. Our team of experienced MCA physicians and staff will continue to run the day-to-day operations of the clinics. MCA’s main office located at 273 Winton M Blount Loop is now a Department of Baptist Medical Center East hospital.
MCA and Baptist Health will continue to submit claims to your insurance plan. Patients seen in the Montgomery location will receive a bill for professional physician services and a bill from Baptist Medical Center East for the technical and facility fees. Copays, deductibles, and out of pocket amounts may be more for visits at the Montgomery location.
Payments
We require that you pay copays, deductibles, and previous balance(s) prior to your appointment. If you are unable to pay the full payment amount due, all balances are due within thirty (30) days of your visit. We understand that unavoidable difficulties arise, and we are willing to work with you to make satisfactory payment arrangements in the case of a prolonged illness, unemployment, or other unexpected financial problems.

Filing Insurance Claims
As a service to our patients, we will file insurance claims with your insurance carrier. You may receive a monthly statement even though your insurance is pending. You are responsible for any claim disputes since we are not a party to your insurance contract.
MCA participates in all government related insurance providers including Medicare, many Medicare Advantage plans, Medicaid, Tricare, as well as Blue Cross, Cigna commercial plans, Aetna Commercial plans, and other selected plans. We do not participate in Cigna Medicare Advantage, Aetna Medicare Advantage, or Ambetter Medicare Advantage.

Past Due Accounts
If you are unable to make a payment when it is due, please contact our Patient Accounts Department at (334) 280-1500 in advance. We will work with you to set up a payment schedule agreeable to both of us.
