Laken Armstrong is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in Montgomery Cardiovascular Associates Montgomery and Troy offices. 

She earned her Master’s degree in nursing from Auburn University at Montgomery. She became interested in cardiology after working five years in various areas of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery as a RN which gave her the opportunity to learn and understand the structural and functional aspects of the heart. As a cardiology nurse practitioner, she enjoys working with patients through management of acute and chronic illnesses to help them feel their best. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Boone, going to the beach, reading, hiking, and exercising.
